TOURAcademy Tiburón has just completed a great season
of instruction for both Members and our guests. We want to
thank all of you who participated in our Member instruction
programs, from our free clinics to our Members-only golf
schools. We look forward to next season when we may help
even more of you enjoy this great game!
Kathy Padgett
The Academy has had a couple of great things to celebrate.
Instructor Kathy Padgett had one of her students
participate in the Drive, Chip and Putt competition that was
held the Sunday prior to Masters week. Kathy was on-hand to
watch her student, Sam Kodak, compete against juniors from
across the country! Congratulations to Kathy and Sam!
Kudos to Instructor Tom O’Brien, who was awarded the title
of South Florida PGA Southwest Chapter Teacher of the Year!
It is quite an accomplishment to be recognized by his peers!
We now have four PGA Section/Chapter Teachers of the Year
titles awarded to our Academy Staff!
