the lower latencies. This is
of course particularly true
for the X99 platform where
memory frequencies tend
to be lower anyway. There’s
simply no incentive or
reason to ever be operating
this memory at C14 as
impressive as it is, if you’re
planning on sticking to
anything above 3000MHz.
Again we must admit
that the TridentZ kit looks
fantastic, especially in
the silver/grey and white
combination. There’s
something elegant, but
striking about the design and
it is easily one of the best
looking kits on the market
if not the best looking.
Naturally that’s entirely
subjective, but the memory
does lend itself well to all
the motherboards out that
have a two tone colour
scheme with matching
colours. It fits right in and is
at home on the highest end
boards money can buy. For
you who care about this kind
of thing, you’ll find it hard to
say this set is unsightly as
even without any led or other
lighting system, it still looks
the part and certainly packs
a punch in performance.
This is undoubtedly the
first memory kit that would
score a 100% if we still had
numerical scoring. It’s just
as perfect as it comes when
talking about high
performance DDR4 memory.
A definite editor’s choice pick
and one memory set that you
should buy immediately.

Summary
Don’t let the 3200MHz
rating fool you, this kit
will go head to head
and best many 3600 and
even 3866MHz kits at
every benchmark and
application. G.SKILL has
put together an incredible
set that looks great in
the silver/metal grey
and white combination.
The performance is
there to match and the
overclocking headroom
is staggering. Be it
you’re using the X99 or
Z170 platform, you will
struggle to find a better
kit anywhere.
Would you buy it?
Definitely
