the lower latencies. This is of course particularly true for the X99 platform where memory frequencies tend to be lower anyway. There’s simply no incentive or reason to ever be operating this memory at C14 as impressive as it is, if you’re planning on sticking to anything above 3000MHz. Again we must admit that the TridentZ kit looks fantastic, especially in the silver/grey and white combination. There’s something elegant, but striking about the design and it is easily one of the best looking kits on the market if not the best looking. Naturally that’s entirely subjective, but the memory does lend itself well to all the motherboards out that have a two tone colour scheme with matching colours. It fits right in and is at home on the highest end boards money can buy. For you who care about this kind of thing, you’ll find it hard to say this set is unsightly as even without any led or other lighting system, it still looks the part and certainly packs a punch in performance. This is undoubtedly the first memory kit that would score a 100% if we still had numerical scoring. It’s just as perfect as it comes when talking about high performance DDR4 memory. A definite editor’s choice pick and one memory set that you should buy immediately. G.SKILL has put together an incredible set that looks great in the silver/metal grey and white combination. The performance is there to match and the overclocking headroom is staggering.
