tell us about your wedding vision. Our theme evolved as I found one thing after another that I loved and simply found a way to make them work together. I guess my starting point was my beautiful lace dress and the seafoam blue fabric for the girls’ dresses. The venue had gorgeous décor and stunning ocean views, so the only reception decoration we added was fresh flowers. how did you choose your projects? I did different things for different reasons - some were cheaper (some really weren’t!), some I had trouble finding off the shelf the way I wanted, but mainly just because I enjoy doing all those things. “ My favourite projects were the things I got to do with other people. My awesome sister did all of the writing at the last minute! wedding cake Chocolate chilli mud cake with a good lacing of rum. flowers Bouquets, corsages, ceremony and reception arrangements. outfits I designed and made flower girl dresses and ties for the little boys. papercraft Invitations, order of service cards, place settings, table numbers and cake boxes. wishing well I decoupaged a suitcase with vintage postcards from all the places we were visiting on our honeymoon.
