High school sweethearts Sam and Tom struck the perfect balance
of creativity and practicality when planning their elegant country
wedding. “All of our decorations were lovingly made by the ladies
in our lives: mums, friends, grandmas and my sister. We also
organised a sewing party to make lavender bags for our thank you
gifts, and made bunting from vintage books. Tom and I both took
the week before the wedding off and spent half of it apart with our
families - it built the suspense!”
Sam’s gorgeous gown was a surprise find. “I wasn’t even looking
for bridal wear when I found my dress. I fell in love with it straight
away!” She personalised her look by repurposing an embellished
belt as an exquisite hairpiece.
