LAW SCHOOL
ANNOUNCES BUILDING
The key features of the addition are directly related to the student educational
experience. These include a new classroom wing with a “case study” classroom and
a seminar classroom, as well as a new modern, state-of-the-art teaching courtroom.
Renovation priorities also focus on the student experience and include a
completely renovated legal clinic, a new adaptable classroom for varied and
innovative teaching and learning, and an improved student life center for student
support functions from recruitment and admissions through career placement. The
first floor of the law library will be transformed into an information commons,
while other renovations throughout the library will increase student study and
work space.

The UND School of Law is at a historic crossroads. To timely and cost-effectively
complete all of the student-centered priorities of the law school building project,
in both the addition and the renovation, the School of Law needs the immediate
financial support of its alumni and friends to reach $2.5 million in private giving
toward the building project.
