YOUNG LAWYER’S SHOWCASE BETH EBERT is an attorney with the Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm in Dickinson and has been with the firm since November 2011. Her practice areas include family law, oil and gas law, general litigation, estate planning, and business formation. Beth is originally from Sisseton, South Dakota, where she played a part on the 2000, 2001, and 2004 Class A High School Girls’ Basketball State Championship Teams. She received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, before attending the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she graduated with distinction in 2011. While in law school, Beth served as the President of the NALSA group for two years. In her spare time, Beth has been training for her first marathon, and often travels to Sioux Falls to visit her nieces, and is contemplating buying a dog – even though she’s allergic to them.   KATIE PERLEBERG is a trusts and estates associate in the Fargo office of Fredrikson & Byron P.A. She focuses on estate planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents. She also assists clients with business entity formation, trust administration, and probate. Katie grew up in Jamestown. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in Business and Spanish from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She then worked in Fargo as a financial advisor before attending law school at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, where she graduated cum laude in 2011.
