Team Up for Kids Pinup Campaign a Big Success
Thank you to all franchisees who participated in our fourth annual Team Up for Kids™ fundraiser to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of America ( BGCA )! There were some amazing results , including the top franchise restaurant of Grand Forks , North Dakota , which raised $ 11,051 . Fargo , North Dakota , and Warren , Michigan , came in second and third , each raising over $ 6,000 . The wristbands we sold raised more than $ 557,300 , including $ 147,000 at franchise restaurants . Thanks to everyone ’ s efforts , we raised $ 1,334,700 , including $ 305,700 at more than 460 franchise restaurants . Boys & Girls Clubs of America , and children in hundreds of Buffalo Wild Wings ® markets , thank you for your support !
In 2016 , we helped 74,000 kids in need belong to teams at clubs in more than 345 Buffalo Wild Wings communities . The donations raised through our Pinup fundraiser and sauce bottle sales will enable us to provide even more ALL STARS grants for football , basketball , dance and cheer programs in 2017 .
The holiday season is a great time to raise donations with retail sauce and seasoning bottle sales . With strong sales during the holidays , we could raise nearly $ 2 million throughout 2016 from retail sales !
In addition to our national fundraising programs , franchisees and their restaurant teams generously donate money and products and volunteer their time at clubs in their communities , significantly increasing the impact of our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs across the country .
