Amidst the day-to-day and out of the chaos come memories that last a lifetime. Jerry Franklin recalls with pride how
Colleen, a diabetic, hosted a fundraiser for the local American
Diabetes Association, and the Schmidts won Family Business of
the Year in Gilbert, Arizona, for their efforts to support a young
girl with cancer and two police officers who were shot, as well
as a vigil for one of their bartenders who died in a fire accident.
But for Jenny Beaudoin, her first child’s birth is forever tied
to the Ganse/Beaudoin Group’s second Winchester, Virginia,
restaurant. Timing was everything. The store was set to open
and Beaudoin’s daughter, Abbie, was to arrive 12 weeks later.
The store opened six weeks late and Abbie arrived six weeks
