How did you and your partner meet?

Our first landlord told us to grow at a speed that affords you
the ability to retain all your equity. Fortunately, Martti and I have
been able to do that thus far. Also, always make time for golf.
Describe the biggest industry change since you started:
Minimum wage is starting to get out of hand.
Describe your current biggest challenge as a franchisee:
People! The managing, developing and retaining of our
people is a continual challenge. You can have the greatest brand
in the world, but if you can’t execute and deliver on customer’s
ever growing expectations, you are sure to fail.

What is the best business advice you have received?
We lived in the same dorm our freshman year at the University of Vermont. We have been great friends ever since, and both
served as the best man at each other’s wedding.
We felt there was a need in Vermont for a place to grab
some good food, a cold beer and watch the game. We looked at
a few different concepts, but after meeting the brass at BWW we
felt it was the perfect fit.

Aaron: I love medium. I grew up in Buffalo; using anything
other than traditional wing sauce is not allowed. And blue
cheese only!

We love going into our stores and seeing large parties.
