ALL STARS Grants Awarded to 285 Clubs This Fall
D
onations from Buffalo Wild Wings®, sauce bottle
sales and the Pinup fundraiser raised more than $1.5
million for Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2013!
These funds are helping 285 Clubs create or improve
flag and tackle football programs and cheer team programs
in Clubs across the country this fall. More than 28,000 kids in
need will have the chance to belong to a team. Grants also go
toward providing team jerseys, coach training and a recognition
program. A list of Clubs receiving grants is posted in Playbook
on bHub. Check to see if we’re supporting a Club near you!
New This Year
We’re donating $225,000 for nine capacity-building grants
of $25,000 each for Clubs to significantly improve their sports
facilities and programs. These include major renovations to gyms,
sports fields and dance studios, as well as equipment purchases at
Clubs across the country. These grants will have a big impact on
Clubs and the lives of kids in each of their communities.
October Fundraiser
Our annual Pinup fundraiser is underway! We hope
everyone is encouraging guests to join our efforts to help kids
play team sports. Our goal is to raise more than $800,000 so we
can award even more ALL STARS grants in 2015. This fundraiser is a great way to get your community involved in our
Team Up for Kids™ initiative. S
Both FBS and BWW want to hear about your fundraising events!
A form to submit your story to BWW can be found on Playbook, along with a list matching every location with a local Club.
You can also use Playbook as a resource for customizable fliers to
help promote your restaurants’ events.
