New Era , Same Spirit . Qantas has officially announced their newest edition to the fleet ! The Boeing 787-9 .
The Boeing 787-9 is a great edition the Qantas fleet . It is an upgrade that has been long awaited . It is believed that the Boeing 747-400 will be replaced with the 787-9 due to the modernisation of the 787-9 . Alan Joyce ( Qantas Chief Executive ) says the 787 is about 15 months away from joining the Qantas Fleet ! There will be 4 amazing 787 ’ s joining ! This has caused many aviation lovers to pay extra attention !
The routes for the 787 will follow existing routes that Qantas currently follow but it has not been confirmed 100 % of which routes they will be . Qantas in the meantime has stated the aircrafts induction into service will offer “ luxury suites in business class ” and a “ revolutionary premium economy that is streets ahead of anything else out there ”.
The tickets for the first 787 services will be on sale by Christmas , which will allow us to have an earlier look at the routes and the cabin configuration !
