new stewarton podcasts
I can remember back in the mid eighties helping my granny to fold
and deliver a wee local paper... I can't recall its name but it was only
a few pages and had some articles with a sprinkling of adverts too. I
don't know if that was the first local publication of it's kind, these days
there are a few Stewarton related magazines and a couple of websites
that will give you lots of history and information about the town but
now nearly half way through the second decade of the 21st century
Stewarton has its own podcast. What! You don't know what a podcast is?
Come on grandad, get with the times. If you have a computer or a
device with Internet access you can get podcasts downloaded to them.
It’s really easy to do - once you've done the technical bit just sit back
and enjoy listening to whatever you choose! Hopefully your first choice
will be Stewarton the Bonnet Toun podcast as it's local and contains
good entertainment mixed with some informative chat. Once the
podcast gets established it is hoped that groups and organizations will
come to us first to get their news out and as Stewarton the Bonnet
Toun podcast comes out weekly our news will still be relevant. So
now that I've got you interested you’ll want to know where to get it...
Well - that's easy - just log on to www.stewartonpodcasts.com and
there you will find all of the podcasts we have done so far. You’ll also
see a subscribe button so you never have to miss any future editions.
We have a Facebook group and page; it would be great if you liked
us and joined the group. To find us simply search for Stewarton the
Bonnet Toun Podcast. During December there will be a few Christmas
specials so don't miss them! I hope Santa is good to you all, merry
Christmas and a happy new year!
