30 To place editorial email [email protected] new stewarton podcasts I can remember back in the mid eighties helping my granny to fold and deliver a wee local paper... I can't recall its name but it was only a few pages and had some articles with a sprinkling of adverts too. I don't know if that was the first local publication of it's kind, these days there are a few Stewarton related magazines and a couple of websites that will give you lots of history and information about the town but now nearly half way through the second decade of the 21st century Stewarton has its own podcast. What! You don't know what a podcast is? Come on grandad, get with the times. If you have a computer or a device with Internet access you can get podcasts downloaded to them. It’s really easy to do - once you've done the technical bit just sit back and enjoy listening to whatever you choose! Hopefully your first choice will be Stewarton the Bonnet Toun podcast as it's local and contains good entertainment mixed with some informative chat. Once the podcast gets established it is hoped that groups and organizations will come to us first to get their news out and as Stewarton the Bonnet Toun podcast comes out weekly our news will still be relevant.
