Advertise from as little as £25! email [email protected] 27 Congratulations Village Balti House! The Big Buzz for clic sargent When Stewarton local Christine Craufurd got in touch to tell us she was shaving her head to raise money for Clic Sargent I just had to find out more. She kindly invited me round for a cuppa to check out her new ‘do... and I have to say, it really suits her! Christine tells me she got the idea from a work email about The Big Buzz and after sharing her idea with a colleague at Malcolm Sargent House, there was no going back! Christine told me how incredibly nervous she was on the day but is now so glad she went through with it for such a worthwhile cause. Daughter Lizzie says, “I’m very proud of my Mum for her bravery, it shows her kindness” Christine has been overwhelmed with the support from her friends and colleagues as well as Dawn Borland who has been collecting sponsors in her Deli. Christine husband alex also had his head shaved for moral support! has so far raised around £700 but needs another boost to achieve her goal of £1,000 for the amazing charity which provides invaluable help and support for children and young people suffering from cancer. Well done from all of us at The Review! if you’d like to help christine achieve her £1,000 goal for clic sargent, head over to www.justgiving.com/thebigbuzz or pop into borland’s deli... all donations greatly appreciated!
