Since launching as the Stonehouse Grill & Bass the business
has gone from strength to strength. The restaurant is receiving
rave reviews for its wholesome food at reasonable prices.
Having closed the restaurant in September 2014 for refurbishment, owner
Robert Williamson launched in October with a totally revamped restaurant
providing a friendly atmosphere with a musical theme. A brand new menu was
launched by head chef Raymond Raeside ensuring quality food at all times.
Since the re-launch Julie McCann has been employed as the Manageress and
she along with her team have been the secret to our present success.
Robert Williamson:
“You can feel the buzz when you enter the restaurant now, with the music
playing at a decent level and the chat flowing, I’m wearing a continual smile on
my face. That said we are far from the finished article, having recently revamped
our menu and subsequently introduced our new breakfast menu, we hope
to build on our initial success. Nothing is taken for granted and everything is
appreciated both by myself and all of my staff”
Manageress Julie McCann:
“It’s a pleasure to work here, my team are hardworking and enthusiastic, what
more can I ask for. We listened and launched our new lunch and kids menu and
If customers give us there honest opinion we take it on board and try our hardest
to implement the required changes wherever possible. We will always strive to
improve, it’s the only way to ensure consistency”.
Entertainment at the restaurant consists of Friday night Karaoke with Jim Marshall
and live music on a Saturday night, all free entry. It is important to point out that
all of the employees with exception of the head chef live in Stewarton, as a rule
where we can we use local suppliers. The owner’s philosophy has always been to
keep the money in Stewarton as much as possible.
Upcoming events:
March of the Mods Friday Night 6th March in aid of
Teenage cancer trust. 5 bands for £10 and all proceeds go
to the charity.
The Loft nightclub is open from 11pm-2:30am on a Friday
and Saturday night and is also available for functions.
