take part in the great british tennis weekend
at stewarton tennis club
Stewarton Tennis Club along with hundreds of
others across the country are taking part in the
“Great British Tennis Weekend” on Sat 17th May,
21st June, 28th June & 19th July.
at 3pm. The Junior sessions are free to members so be quick to sign
up. Members have regular Club nights Ladies (Monday 6pm), Gents
(Tues 6pm), and Juniors (Fri 4pm). We are a social bunch so we also run
regular Adult doubles tournaments on Friday nights with the emphasis
on some fun and a bit of socialising. If the recent Open Day is anything
From 12pm to 2pm the Club will be offering free taster sessions for
people of all ages and abilities to come along and have a hit (equipment
provided). It’s a great chance to meet the regulars and be part of a
great sport. This spring we have a full Sunday coaching programme
comprising of Adult Coaching & Matchplay (12-2pm), Junior Tennis
(P1-P3 at 2pm, P4-P5 at 3pm, P6-S2 at 4pm), and Adult Beginners
to go by then the Club is well on track to exceed last year’s membership
of 160 so come along, meet new people, make friends, and join in !

football festival fun
The Player Development Academy 2005’s recently took part in the
ESF Ayr Youth Football Festival during the Easter break. The boys
played 9 games over the two days winning 7 and drawing 2 scoring
27 goals and conceding just 4... against teams from Northern
Ireland, England, Lochilphead, Cowdenbeath and the local area.

After the success of this tournament the PDA has been
invited to take part in the prestigious Disneyland,
Paris tournament in 2015. This will be a
tremendous personal experience for all the boys
to be involved in.
