Karena and The East
Ayrshire Wig Clinic
Karena is completing her PhD in wig technology at the
University of Strathclyde. She’s taking the exciting step of
bringing specialist wig knowledge to the local community
of East Ayrshire. She is working alongside Stylists at Quality
Hair to offer a bespoke service for people needing advice
and support in purchasing alternative hair systems (wigs,
toppers, hair pieces). Karena has alopecia, and recognises
many of the challenges of obtaining, maintaining and styling
hair systems. Therefore, she wants to help people make
informed choices when buying wigs and hairpieces and
recognises the importance of finding the right hair system to
meet the wearers requirements and lifestyle.
The clinic runs every Monday from 9:30am - 5pm.
Prior bookings is essential.
