provider, has agreed to sponsor

is very fitting and just reward for the team’s
commitment shown by both the coaches
been our enormous pleasure to sponsor
the team so that they could buy their
new strips. We hope it helps the players
to feel even more proud of their club
and encourages them to succeed.”
2009 Team Secretary Ewen Logie added:
“We wish to thank NVT Group for the
purchase of our new strips and jackets. It
hard work that they have been able to run
out in new strips to celebrate the team’s 1st
anniversary and to continue to celebrate the
club’s 40th anniversary year. The children
and parents are delighted with the kits while
the coaches believe that the new uniforms
will take team spirit to another level.”
Stewarton is Ready Whatever the Weather
Stewarton Annick Football Club (SAFC) recently
applied for and were awarded support from the
Persimmon Homes Community Champions
Fund. SAFC raised £500 through local sponsored
events, which was matched by Persimmon Homes,
enabling the club to purchase a set of new wet weather
training kits for their 2006 (U11’s) players.
Persimmon Homes West Scotland were delighted to
support the local youth football club, where they have
recently began construction on new family homes, at
‘The Pastures’ development in Stewarton. These new
training kits have already been put to good use by the
players during their preseason preparations for the start
of the new North Ayrshire Soccer Association 7-a-side
league season, which runs from March to November.
John McDowell (pictured on the right), a coach at SAFC said; “The
future success of youth football clubs is built on the foundations of
support from the local children, their parents and the coaches, but
equally important is the valuable support offered by businesses like
Persimmon Homes, to help meet the ongoing work of providing
young people with a positive community based activity.”
