What are this seasons colours?
SS16 sees some really wearable shades – think pastels but with a bit of depth and
a muddy-greyed out edge. The most popular colours are Serenity (a deep soft
blue) and Rose Quartz (a smoky pale pink).
What are this seasons key clothing trends?
As always, it is a bit of everything and not all of it wearable for our customer! However, pleats and
ruffles are a big deal this season and we have plenty of pieces that feature those particular elements.
Sequins, stripes and structured denim pieces are also key for the season.
What are your Hero items currently at Armoire?
Our customers love a great blazer they can dress up or down, so we always try
to focus on those. Right now we have amazing high waisted skinny jeans in
stock which our ladies just love as they’re pretty much a wardrobe classic now.
Both are under £40 so great value.
What can we expect this season from Armoire?
As always our primary focus is great wardrobe builders at really great price points but in
particular we have a great selection of dresses right now; including our “miracle” dress
which flatters pretty much everyone and fits a size 10 to a size 18. There’s also some
great Italian pieces that are perfect for holidays, including our ruffled trim linen overtop/
tunic. We’ve also got fantastic jewellery from celebrity LA jeweller Melinda Maria.
For anyone that hasn’t yet visited Armoire,
what can you say to tempt them?
Well, our focus is very much on following the trends but not being a slave to them, so you won’t find our
collections on the high street! I genuinely believe we have something for everyone, regardless of age. We
have new styles arriving weekly and our prices are really reasonable – between £20-£60 generally which
customers are surprised by because they assume we will be expensive! We really want people to shop
locally so we offer a loyalty programme which increases your discount the more you spend!
However as an additional incentive if anyone mentions this article and haven’t purchased from us before,
we will give them a 10% discount.
Do you offer a late night?
Yes we do a late night Thursday “sip and shop” event each month with prosecco and special offers on the
night. Our next one is 2nd June.
