Manna's has been trading for almost
a year now, we stopped by to find out
what lies behind the success of our
newest local bakery...

It was a fantastic
opportunity to be able to
take over this coffee shop,
as I love getting to know
people and I love to talk!

Our willingness to please our customers,
our home baking and personal touch make
us stand out. On top of that I like to vary
the menu from week to week!
All our bakery produce is bought in
from Artisan bakers, so we are providing
something a bit special with our
sandwiches and desserts etc. Our clientele
also have the chance to buy our bakery
produce to take home. I think we provide
a wonderful happy warm environment for
them to come in, relax and feel at home.

nam e ‘ manna' ?
We struggled with names initially but I
must admit "Manna" was MY very first
name for it but everyone else was quite
undecided. After a week or two of trying
to come up with a name we could all agree
on, we came back to "Manna!" Basically it
means "Bread from Heaven," so it stands to
reason with us providing fresh bread daily.

I like to give my customers choice, that's
why my menu varies. I hear they love
to come into a warm, cosy environment
and they love the banter too! Overall our
biggest hits have got to be our freshly
ground Italian Coffee, our freshly baked
produce (the only thing we microwave
are beans!), and our breakfast rolls. Those
things combined with a few dazzling
personalities and big winning smiles are
what drives custom back time and time
again.

Well, we have lived in Stewarton 11 years
now. It's a fantastic little town with loads
of opportunity for all our little ones - from
sports to music and much more, this little
jewel has served our growing family very
well. It was a fantastic opportunity to be
able to take over this coffee shop, as I love
getting to know people and I love to talk
(you probably haven't picked up on that yet
have you?)! Manna now provides me with
the perfect opportunity to give something
back to the community! It enables me
to provide a free soup with bread and a
cup of tea once a month to OAP's from
Stewarton! That would make me very
happy, and hopefully put a big smile on
many wee faces.

Yes! We make celebration and wedding
cakes, guaranteeing the best of quality.
We also do buffets and provide a free local
delivery service with lunch orders over £10.
Plans for the very near future are to provide
an outside seating area at the back yard
where people can enjoy the sunshine and
bring their favourite pooch if they so w
