I n a
time where our society is becoming ever more narcissistic and commercialised by the day, there
really has never been a more important time for Catholics in England and Wales to unite and stand up to
a society that in some quarters appears to be lacking in traditional values and morals. However it could also
be argued that now is a very important time for Catholics to unite within the church itself, as divisions and
infighting within the Church do very little to help bring people closer to God.
