She cited her credentials and promised to give the Association a total commitment and present a professional image.” 10 Years Ago – April 2007 The NJSACOP Monthly State Chiefs Meeting for April 2007 was held at Gibbs Hall at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. Executive Director Sklar reported that the Association’s website was undergoing a complete overhaul, which would make it easier to navigate. He also announced that the upcoming 6 th Session of the NJSACOP Executive Institute was completely sold out and a waiting list had been established. He further reported that the NJ Division of Criminal Justice would no longer be conducting the annual New Police Chiefs Orientation, and that the program would now be coordinated and run by the NJSACOP. Lastly, he reported that the NJSACOP had just passed the 100 mark for agencies that have applied for Accreditation through the NJSACOP Accreditation Program, and that to date 18 departments have received Accredited status. Chief Eric Mason Cranford PD Chief Robert Coulton (Ewing) reported that he is representing the Association on a School Security Task Force which is working on a school security plan that will effect law enforcement. Chief Eric Mason (Cranford), chair of the West Point Command & Leadership Committee, reported that the WPC&L Alumni Association had been reformed, and is now fully functional and directly affiliated with the NJSACOP. 6
