Dear Leakies with Babies to Feed, Congratulations on your little one(s)! However they have come to you has surely shaped you and helped birth you to be the mother your child needs. And your journey feeding your child(ren) can lay the foundation for your parenting confidence. As straightforward as feeding a baby may seem, sometimes there are surprises and sorting out how to navigate the conflicting advice can be overwhelming. Whatever your journey, you’ve got this, you are equipped for each decision that needs to be made and any challenge that may present itself. Thankfully, as parents we have generations of parents that have come before us, health care providers specializing in infant feeding and nutrition, and those parents on the journey now. We don’t have to go it alone. Together we are a resource of vast experience, information, and support. In 6.5 years of doing The Leaky Boob, I have seen the combined power of sharing our stories, providing information, and empathetic care come together building each other up. We connect over our struggles, our victories big and small, dish about products that make the infant feeding journey a little more simple, and pass along the tips that have helped us on our journeys. This, our second annual Infant Feeding Guide, is just that. A collection of the ways we can come together to support each other as we feed our babies. We asked you for your favorite tips, information, resources, stories, and products that helped you tap into your confidence in feeding your baby and you did just that. Loaded with the information, resources, personal tips, and products that have made a difference in building the parenting confidence through the infant feeding experiences of those in our community, this guide is a labor of love. Happy feeding Leakies, may you feed with confidence. ~Jessica Martin-Weber Founder, TheLeakyBoob.com
