On Friday 7th October,
students represented the
school in a swimming Gala.
The Gala was a time-trial event,
with schools across Nottinghamshire,
Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire attending, with the hope of
qualifying for the National Finals in London in November. We were only 1
of only 3 state schools/colleges in attendance with the rest being public/
grammar schools. The swimmers were a credit to the school and we now
wait for all national qualifying times to come in to see if we did enough.
