Valuables in the PE
Changing Rooms
Safety of your valuables is
paramount to the PE Faculty
at The Kimberley School. Even
though the number of incidents
of theft within the main-school
and leisure centre changing
rooms since Christmas has
vastly reduced, the odd isolated
incident still occurs.
Please hand in your valuables
at the start of lessons to the
PE teachers to be locked
safely away.
PE Kit
Since we have returned
after Easter, the number of
students either not bringing kit
or attending with incorrect kit to
PE lessons has risen. This is
a reminder that you should be
wearing:
- Your school branded polo shirt
- Black/Navy tracksuit bottoms
or shorts (girls can wear black
leggings in yrs 10/11, but not
in Years 7/8/9)
- Suitable footwear with ankle
support
If you fail to follow the above
rules, you will be provided
with a kit and also receive a
department detention that takes
place after school for 30 mins.

Get Involved - Life Cycle 4
Take part in one of the sponsored cycle rides
on Sunday 31 August 2014 to fight the UK’s
leading cause of cancer deaths in children.
Cycling not your thing? Go along to Lakeside
Arts Centre to cheer the riders on and enjoy a
BBQ and post-ride celebrations. There will be
something for everyone on the day and every
penny raised will go towards vital research to
help young brain tumour sufferers and their
families.
It’s all part of The University of Nottingham’s
wider charity cycling challenge in which the
Vice-Chancellor and his team will ride 1,400+
miles taking in all four corners of Great Britain in
aid of Children’s Brain Tumour Research.
Funds raised will enable crucial advances to
be made into understanding the cause, nature,
treatment and outcomes of childhood brain
tumours.
