The following were successful: Since our last feature, the exam period has finished and a lot of very happy Year 13 students have completed their final day in Sixth Form. The Year 12 students have begun their A2 studies with a refreshed enthusiasm and are really getting stuck into their return from exams. Sixth Form Committee Elect This enthusiasm has manifested itself in part through the campaigning, manifestos and hustings of the new Sixth Form Committee. There was a good competition with excellent nominees going to great lengths to earn their votes: there were videos, music, humour and real integrity. After an exciting vote - the result of which was revealed only in the final stages of the counting, which saw the following students elected into the Committee roles: Head Boy: Callum Weston Head Girl: Melissa Robertson Deputy Head Boys: Jack Varley & Ryan Stephenson Deputy Head Girls: Leilani Papworth & Alice Richmond We are very excited to work with this conscientious team of people who have come up with so many fantastic ideas already. In her manifesto, Deputy Head Girl, Leilani suggested a subject mentoring system within the Sixth Form and that is already being actioned.
