The Year 12 students have

a refreshed enthusiasm and

their return from exams.
Sixth Form Committee Elect
This enthusiasm has manifested
itself in part through the campaigning, manifestos and hustings of
the new Sixth Form Committee.
There was a good competition with
excellent nominees going to great
lengths to earn their votes: there
were videos, music, humour and
real integrity.
After an exciting vote - the result
of which was revealed only in the
final stages of the counting, which
saw the following students elected
into the Committee roles:
Head Boy: Callum Weston
Head Girl: Melissa Robertson
Deputy Head Boys:
Jack Varley & Ryan Stephenson
Deputy Head Girls:
Leilani Papworth & Alice Richmond
We are very excited to work with
this conscientious team of people
who have come up with so many
fantastic ideas already. In her
manifesto, Deputy Head Girl, Leilani
suggested a subject mentoring
system within the Sixth Form and
that is already being actioned.

Educational Visits
Over the past few weeks, there have
been a few trips out for members of
the Sixth Form. There’s been a Master
Class at Nottingham Trent University; a
visit to Cambridge University and a trip to
Sheffield Arena for the UCAS convention.
