UCAS
Sixth Form
Pumpkin Carving
The UCAS process is in action and thirty of our Year 13
students have already sent their university applications off
and the offers are rolling in from universities for courses in
nursing and teaching as well as for the study of subjects
such as; History, Law, English, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Psychology, Accountancy and Business Studies.
Callum Weston has an interview next week at Cambridge
University to study English, so we wish him all the best with
that. The students have worked hard on their applications
and we wish them the very best of luck with their offers!
Apprenticeships
Kerris Palmer is through to the final round of the
apprenticeship interview process with Boots, having
undergone a rigorous series of interviews so far.
Charity and School Community Work
Halloween Disco for Year 7 students
In the spirit of the Halloween Disco, a number of students
also helped Assistant Head of Year 7, Miss Waddington, with
a Year 7 pumpkin carving competition. Miss Waddington
was really impressed with how supportive and helpful the
Sixth Formers were.
Remembrance Day
In our last submission, the Charity Committee were
preparing to host the Year 7 Welcome Disco, with a
Halloween theme. On Tuesday 21st October, they
successfully ran a stunningly decorated party and raised
over £200 for an edu
