ESSA Secondary Schools Team Relays Finals

Swimming Event took place
on Saturday 22nd November
at the Olympic Pool in London.

On the the 13th November, a group of students, chosen by
Mrs Brockway, went to the Nottingham Forest football ground for a
conference on becoming an R.E. Ambassador.
The morning started with a presentation on how important R.E.
is in everyday life with speeches from a range of people, such as
councillors and current R.E. Ambassadors for other schools. One
of the speeches that stuck in our minds, was the one given by the
Forest ground chaplain. He said that he spoke to all members of the
Forest ground, religious or not.
After a delicious meal of jacket potatoes, we discussed about
becoming R.E. Ambassadors for our school. We decided on a plan
of action and are looking forward to the future.

We were beaten on the day
by some very good schools
who specialise in sports
however, there is every
chance that the school could
do even better next year as
three of the boys are Year 7s.
