D&T APPEAL
The D&T Faculty is in need
of the following materials:
Celebration, Hero, Quality
Street biscuit tins etc.
Wool, pillowcases and fabric.
As you may know, The Kimberley School
Year 9 textile students have recently
taken part in ‘Dress a child around the
world’. Pillow cases turn into sundresses
and socks into sock toys to put in the pockets of
the clothes we send.
If you have any colour/any size pillowcases,
socks and buttons, please send them
to the D&T Faculty.
A big thank you for the donations
we have received previously;
they have been very useful!
Jeff Collins has just achieved
his Second Dan Black Belt grade at
kick-boxing and, in the same week, has
been accepted as part of a football coaching team going to South Africa
next year with the Balls to Poverty project. This is part of the City and
Guilds Sports course that he’s studying at Central College.
