Ashley was born with HIV positive but her condition developed into aids, Ashley’s parents were unable to takes care of her. At 6 months she was fighting for her own life at the hospital. She was placed in a foster care her foster parents told that she had weeks to live, But after taking her home her health steadly began to improve. At 16 years old she likes music, singing acting, and decorating her bedroom with photos of the Eiffel Tower. Ashley has nine siblings who have special needs who are also adopted or fostered. She has an active volunteer determined to not let any challenges that she faces stand in her way. Ashley has been publicly speaking about her condition at age 10 and has spoken at We Day events across Canada. Ashley is an inspiration because she inspired a lot of people with her story.

Ashley has been an inspiration to
other people because she told her story. When she was still a baby she had HIV and got bullied for that, her parents couldnt really take care of her but she has another family that took care of her. Ashley brings her strength, courage and her idea that we should live life postively no matter how many challenges we face.
