This comprehensive, year-round swim school is the latest edition to The J’s Aquatics Program. Created by The J’s new Aquatics Director and Head Swim Coach, Brandon Rannebarger, the school will work primarily with children, from toddlers (36 months) to 14-year-olds, and will offer a Parents & Me program that will help educate parents about safety floating and water fun! The new J-Rays Swim School uses a step-by-step lesson plan to develop a swimmer's skills. The curriculum is built around constructive play and skill progressions that are built for children of all ages and skill levels. And if that weren't enough, ECE, Camp 365 and other programs within The J will be enrolled into the swim school. Being a member and having your child enrolled in our ECE programs provides exceptional benefits and unmatched child care. The Fall Session will run September 6 – November 18, once a week between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. There will also be a Fast Track program that will run twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. s f ro m g n i t e e r Photo Collage GCamp amp J C r e m Sum e making 2 016 memories Life-long in th Rannebarger states, “Drowning is the leading cause of death of children under 12 years of age! Parents need to get their child into a good swim lesson program. With the small class size, professional staff and constructive play curriculum your swimmer will learn more quickly and have fun doing it. We also have two competitive swim teams for all level of swimmers. I can’t say enough about the value of getting your child involved in sports and the lifelong learning lessons sports provide. I’m really happy to help The J build these types of programs which will help children and the Tucson community.” “We are thrilled to be growing our aquatics programming here at The J. The J-Rays Swim School is a great addition to our successful Stingrays swim team. Future plans include additional aquatic classes for adults and older children with both recreational and fitness goals in mind,” adds Denise Wolf, Vice President/COO at The J.
