Chaunté Wayans is one of the “second generation” of
Wayans with her uncles being Keenan, Marlon, Damon
and Shawn. Her mother is screenwriter Elvira Wayans.
Wayans’ comedy often revolves around her
experiences since coming out of the closet, and
overcoming an addiction to alcohol and drugs.
Since working as a stand-up, she has toured nationally
with Russell Peters, Katt Williams, David Alan Grier, and
her uncles Marlon, Shawn, and Damon Wayans.
Wayans just completed filming a cameo in Marlon’s
film “Fifty Shades Of Black.” On TV, she was a featured
cast member on MTV’s hit show “Nick Cannon Presents:
Wild ‘N Out” and also appeared on TLC’s “Trading
Spaces.” Most recently, she appeared on Bounce TV’s
Off the Chain and NickToon’s animated series
ThugaBoo. She can also be seen in the Katt Williams
special “Kattpacalypse” and in the films “Hollywood
Misconceptions” and “Dance Flick.”
