Bookbug’s Big Giggle

All of our libraries will be giving you the
chance to win your very own special prize
in our prize draw – just borrow a picture or
board book from your local library during
Bookbug Week to be in with a chance of
winning.
Bookbug sessions are free, fun and friendly
events for babies, toddlers, pre-school
children and their families/carers to enjoy
together.
Please note that all children should be
accompanied by an adult.

and a chore, but this workshop places
editing right at the heart of the creative
process and, above all, shows how it can
be great fun.
Writing & Reading the Short Story
with Meaghan Delahunt
Meaghan Delahunt is a prize-winning
novelist and short story writer. Her work
has been widely translated and her stories
anthologised and broadcast on BBC Radio
4. Awards for her novels In the Blue House,
The Red Book and To the Island include
a regional Commonwealth Prize, a Saltire
Award and a nomination for the Orange
Prize.
