ARTS | CUMNOCK TOWN HALL Counselled Out FRI 26 MAY · 7.30PM · £10/£8 The 10-piece revivalist soul band makes a welcome return to Cumnock Town Hall where it last appeared as guests of 60’s legends, The Marmalade, 4 years ago. The vocal powerhouse duo of Drew Robertson & Katrina Fitzsimmons, combined with the four-piece Reservoir Horns, is hard to beat and the band is renowned for creating a party atmosphere no matter where it plays. Counselled Out was massive in Ayrshire in the 1990’s and early 2000’s with their 1,000+ sell-out gigs at Kilmarnock’s Grand Hall and still hold the record for the most attendees at a live music event at Glasgow’s Renfrew Ferry. Plus special guests (to be announced). 10 Absolute Elvis FRI 14 JULY · 7.30PM · £15 Johnny’s relationship with Elvis began at the age of just 3 when his Aunt Helen introduced him to the music and the moves of Elvis which became the catalyst in the making him one of the most respected Elvis Presley tribute artists in the world today. Johnny’s Elvis career began in the autumn of 2005. He has since entered various Elvis Tribute Artist contests including the European Elvis Championships where he was chosen as “Best Vegas Elvis 2008” at one of the world’s largest Elvis festivals held in Porthcawl, South Wales.
