Property Buyer's Tips

The buyer pays the agent's fee not the seller. Agents charge different fees up to 10% + so check if the property is on with different agents (at a lower price).

If you fall in love with a property on the internet, ask the agent/seller for additional photos and lots of questions before you go to the expense of travelling to see it.

Negotiate! Don't be afraid to make an offer below the asking price, it is accepted practice in France these days!
