Komori Rig
OK so this is not really called the Komori rig but that is a pretty cool name for it. Basically the set-up is a variation of the popular drop shot rig but changed slightly for bait fishing. Instead of the hook being attached right on the main line with a Palomar knot, this rig has the hook out on a length of leader line tied with a double overhand loop knot, then trimmed the loop so there is just one line or "leader" to tie the hook to. By the way, this rig has been killer up in the Sierra lakes for trout while using small streamer and wet flies along the bottom!
