"I feel like the steering group in St Andrews
re-invented its mode of operation every 6 months or so! Every time we settled on a new structure, we thought "this should work well now", but then circumstances changed, people changed, numbers changed and we faced a new "crisis". A certain amount of tension is normal and there is a creative dialectic between the structures that groups implement and the way in which the members of those groups understand their roles within these structures".
