Sigma Sister Named Oklahoma State Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association

MDA Oklahoma is pleased to announce that Aracely Baeza, a driven 26 year-old from Oklahoma City, has been named State Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. As the new State Ambassador, she will make public appearances throughout the state, representing kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases that severely weaken muscle strength and mobility. Aracely was diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy at birth. Congenital MD is one of the muscle diseases covered by MDA’s research and care programs.

Aracely has a degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business enterprise studies. She now has a career as a case worker. She was a long-time participant of MDA Summer Camp and currently attends the MDA Care Center in Oklahoma City. Everyone, please welcome Aracely!
