Application Packets Requirements
1. Anyone interested in running for National Cabinet position submit an application to the Vice President of Standards at least 45 calendar days prior to the Conference. In the case that the Vice President of Standards applies for a position, she will submit her application to the National President. All eligible applications will be posted online at least 30 days before Conference for individual member review and voting.
2. All applications must include:
a. Letter of interest
b. Goals and prospective programming for the upcoming term
c. Kappa Delta Chi and Professional resumes
d. One (1) letter of recommendation
e. Verification of good standing provided by the National Standards Officer, which is dated within the last 2 years, or her chapter's Standards Officer if Active/graduated within 2 years.
f. Verification of current membership to the National Alumnae Association.
3. Early Alumna applicants must also submit an official document from the university (transcript, letter, etc.) showing cumulative hours and proof of a 2.5 GPA.
4. Degreed Alumna applicants need only submit proof of graduation (copy of transcript, copy of diploma, etc.).
5. In addition, applicants for the President and Vice-President positions must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a previous national officer.
6. If a current officer is running for re-election in the same position or another position, she must have an additional letter of reference from the supervising officer within her term detailing all accomplishments, violations, etc. In the case of the National President, the Chair of the Board of Directors must submit a letter of recommendation.
**Be advised that it is MANDATORY that all elected National Cabinet Members attend the
National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL July 13th-16th, 2017.
