Tiegan Dakin is the founder and editor of The Drowning Gull. Her work of many varieties appears or is forthcoming in After the Pause, Up the Staircase Quarterly, Blue Bonnet Review and The Legendary, among others. Sarah Fallon is the Art Editor for The Drowning Gull. She is a creative all-rounder. Art and literature have been dual loves for Sarah since childhood; in 2010, she launched the indie jewellery brand, Hearsay, where she designed and made her own statement jewellery. Rebecca Valley is the Poetry Editor for the Drowning Gull. She is a bookworm, poet, freelance writer and feminist. She recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature and History from The Evergreen State College, but mostly nerds out over Caribbean and Latin American literature, medieval Catholicism, magical realism and women's history. Rebecca has published poems and history articles in a variety of literary magazines and websites, including Rattle,. I'm looking for poems that are imaginative, dreamy, and leap from metaphor to metaphor.
