David Pastore of Greenwich, Connecticut birdied the 72nd hole at the Niagara Championship
to secure his first career PGA Tour Canada victory at just 24 years of age. Pastore, who was
a member of the Connecticut State Team in 2014, shot a final round 66 to vault up the
leaderboard and win by a single stroke over Dan McCarthy. His victory moved him up to
17th place in the Order of Merit, securing his PGA Tour Canada card for the 2017 season.
