After close calls and playoff losses that left him out of the winner’s circle in 2015 and
much of 2016, Dave Szewczul put an end to the drought in dramatic fashion, capturing
the 71st Connecticut Senior Amateur Championship and 29th Connecticut Mid-Amateur
Championship in consecutive weeks.
