or the first time in the history of the event, Madison Country Club will open its doors to the state’s
top senior amateur golfers for the 71st playing of the Connecticut Senior Amateur Championship
on September 26th - 27th, 2016.
The club was established in the early 1900’s, with the present course originally designed by famed
golf course architect, Willie Park, Jr. in 1909. Some of Park’s other designs include Woodway Country
Club, Maidstone Golf Club, Olympia Fields Country Club, New Haven Country Club and Shuttle Meadow
Country Club. In all, Park designed more than 170
