Lou Stone
Sadly, two of Connecticut’s most popular seniors, Lou Stone and
George Post will not be with us in 2014. Lou died in November
after a tragic accident, and George passed away in February
after a long illness. Lou was one of Connecticut top amateurs
for many years. In 2013 he finished third in the Senior Player
of the Year standings and represented the CSGA in the Annual
Tri-State Matches. George was a member of the CSGA Course
Rating Team and a four-time Senior Club Champion at Hop
Meadow CC. A full tribute to both Lou and George will be
included in the 2014 CSGA Championship Annual.
