You can start your submission process in three easy steps:
Get the information! Deadlines vary by region. To find local program guidelines and deadlines, visit www.artandwriting.org/guidelines-deadlines.
Create an account! Once you’ve made your masterpiece, visit artandwriting.org/Student/Login to create your Scholastic Awards account and upload your work. Your account will be your creativity command center!
Stamp it and Send it! Have your submission forms signed by a parent/guardian and an educator, and then mail them off with your submission fee to your local program.
Check out past award winning work and get inspired. The Scholastic Awards is the nation’s preeminent source for recognizing the achievements of creative teens, and we want you to be a part of it.

The West Platte School District is excited to learn more about our future Bluejays! We are hoping to discover more about our families with young children (prenatal-5) in our school district.
If you have or are expecting a child(ren) within this age range, please assist us by providing information for an early childhood survey. We are conducting this survey so may better meet the needs of the children and families in our community.

- $10 million in scholarships available to artist and writers.
- All students in grades 7-12 can participate.

Operation Prom
The Booster Club is organizing a Silent Basket Auction to be held during the KCI Basketball Tournament on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Operation Prom will benefit from this auction which creates a fun and safe environment for our students after they have attended Prom. The students enjoy swimming, games, entertainment and plenty of food.
West Platte High School Clubs will participate in providing these fabulous Holiday Gifts Ideas in various themes of baskets including Gardner’s Basket, Chief’s Basket, Family Game Basket, Cooking Basket, Pep Rally Baskets, and many more. Please come out and show your support and make a bid.
