Don't worry, you're in good company. The miraculous story was reported in UK newspapers in October 2016, and understandably caught many people's attention, and captured imaginations. What if you could do the same? How much hard work would it take? Could you pull it off?

The answer is quite simply 'Of course you could'. Whether you want to or not is another question. Dropping from 14stone to 12 is admirable if that's the healthy thing to do. But perhaps you're taller or bigger built. Realistically there's no perfect size or shape, providing one vital rule is always adhered to- look after yourself properly.

Do this and yourself will take care of the rest.

So eat well, exercise regularly, and most of all don't ignore the niggles that can get worse with time. That might not be anything you consider 'medical', either. Forget about funny rashes and bumps, then, we're talking about backs, joints, limbs- all the bits that move, and, if not treated as they should be, can stop you moving in the long run.

It's amazing how many normal, day-to-day activities are actually really quite bad for us. Driving, train-ing, Tube-ing, desk-ing, even just sitting down has been linked to premature death. Let's just run that by you again- premature death. From sitting down.

Crazy as it may sound it's the truth according to some experts, and whilst we're not advocating jumping on the good (or bad?) ship health hysteria, the point is that you should always keep an eye on how the old body is running, and never be afraid or too embarrassed to look for help when needed.
