RPAYC Opti Sailors selected to represent the country
Well done to three of our Royal Prince
Alfred Yacht Club Opti sailors. Jonathon
Tuite, Daniel Links and Fletcher Walters.
Daniel and Fletcher have been selected
for the Australian Opti Team with Daniel
off to compete in Sri Lanka and Fletcher
off to compete in Antigua. Jono has been
selected for the Youth Development
Squad and is off to compete in New
Caledonia. A fantastic achievement by
all three of our up and coming junior
sailors.

East Coast Champs coming
to RPA
This year’s June long weekend, RPAYC
will be hosting the Optimist East Coast
Champs. The Club has arranged to have
the Laser 4.7 as the invited class which
should allow most of the junior sailors to
compete including 29er sailors !
The centreboard committee and the
Club are slowly putting everything
together and we will soon be putting out
requests for volunteers to assist with all
areas from car parking, unloading boats,
registration, launching, on water support
etc.
If anyone knows anyone who can donate
some prizes no matter how small it
would be appreciated. We already have
an Opti sail and an Optimum watch
donated as prizes which is a great start.
