Centreboard Training
This Summer, the RPAYC has altered the training pathway for Optimist training in response to input from sailors, coaches, parents
and the Centreboard Committee. In short Tackers 3 sailors will be encouraged to further practice their sailing skills in Tackers
Fleet. Once the Tackers Fleet Coach deems the sailor competent the sailor will then be encouraged to join Green Fleet to learn
introductory racing. Once the sailor is deemed competent by their Coach, they will be encouraged to join the Club Racing Fleet.
