Club Marine Sail Expo 2016
The Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo is just around the corner (March 5 & 6) and it’s looking to be another great weekend for
the Club! Being in its 5th year, the expo will be attracting hundreds of people from all over Sydney to see what the Club and it’s
exhibitors have on offer.
What is on offer?
The Clubhouse and B and C arms will be colourfully decorated with an array of boats and products on display. Including an
exclusive look at several yachts being on display for the first time in Australia. It’s a great day for members and especially guests.
The Sail Expo will feature an extensive array of exhibitors, displays and entertainment covering all areas of sailing and will be a
family friendly, community based event that will showcase RPAYC. Enjoy a weekend of entertainment, food, kids’ competitions
and product demonstrations.
Volunteers Needed
For the event to run smoothly, member volunteers are needed to assist over the weekend. If you can spare a few hours, please

Photo Competition
This year’s Sail Expo will feature a photo competition
for Member’s boat photos. If you have a photo of
your boat and would like to display it at the expo
email [email protected]. Along with
being on display (with the owner’s permission of
course) the photo will be copied and archived as part
of the Club’s histroy.
Go Sailing Promotion
In October 2015, The Membership Committee launched the Go
Sailing Campaign 15/16 which aims to reward Full boat owning
Members who participate in Club organised sailing events. It’s open
to all Members with a current Facility Agreement (Marina, Mooring,
Hardstand) at The RPAYC who accumulate 12 points through
participation in Club organised racing or cruising.
The Go Sailing Campaign concludes on 31 March 2016 and will
include all cruising & racing events listed in the Sailing Handbook for
the period 1 May 2015 - 31 March 2016.
Be sure to get your entries into reception as soon as possible to
ensure you don’t miss out on the chance to win up to $3000 credit
on your club account with a total prize pool of $6000. If you haven’t
yet completed 6 RPAYC organised races or cruises then there are still
2 months left for you to participate and to get your entry in. Entry
