Cruising Update

Due to the roadworks at the Club entrance and the possibility that roadworks may not be completed by 5 August - there may be bad weather or other matters outside Club or Contractor control - Cruise Committee ( after consultation with the Club )) has decided to move First Friday to the Second Friday of August . The new date is Friday 12 August . The cruise weekend to Refuge Bay is also moved to the second weekend
First ( Second ) Friday 12 August - An Olympic Extravaganza for a social evening and a great Brazilian menu . Fun ‘ Olympic ’ competition . Tables ( teams ) of 8 . Each table to represent a competing Olympic Team . Olympic Sailing events start in Rio on 5 August . Dress with a touch of Olympic spirit . 7pm for 7.30pm in the Pittwater Room . Please book by 5pm on Wed 10 August . Special News - Liesl Tesch and Dan Fitzgibbon - Paralympic Sailing Gold Medalists and Australian representatives in Rio this year - will be our special guests on the night . Sat / Sun 13 / 14 August Refuge Bay Olympic Rally and Cruise Join the Olympic Rally from the Club to Challenger Head , then gather in Refuge Bay . A Rally form will be available from Leon at ‘ Second ’ Friday 12 August and also from Reception . Rally in Company will start from 1100hrs to 1115 hrs . Individual Rally will start from 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs . Just collect your Rally form to participate . If you prefer just cruise down to Refuge Bay and enjoy the evening gathering !
