Yachting Australia Changes their name to Australian Sailing
Yachting Australia has changed its
name to Australian Sailing Ltd. The
change embodies the most significant
organizational reform in the sport’s
history which sees the staff and functions
of the state associations absorbed into
the national body, Australian Sailing.
This new structure improves the capacity
and focus to meet the challenges facing
the sport by approaching them from a
national perspective with local delivery &
implementation.
The name Australian Sailing not only
reflects the new organizational structure,
but also provides clearer definition
of what the organization does by
embracing all facets of sailing from
keelboats to kiteboards.
